Masters of Photography 2016 is a survey of 29 masterpieces by leading photographers of the twentieth century.

The exhibition contains important prints by some of the world’s most influential photographers. Each photograph has been chosen for its significant role in the history of the medium. The exhibition will display a range of iconic imagery, including some of the most important photographs ever taken. The exhibition spans the entirety of the twentieth century, from early Modernist masterpieces, such as Alfred Stieglitz’s The Steerage of 1907, to the colourist works of Joel Sternfeld and Stephen Shore.
