Huxley-Parlour are pleased to present a selection of images by artists whose work explores specific places and locations in relation to the themes of belonging, the environment, and nationhood. The bodies of work on display are chosen from projects in which the artist has sought to reveal an underlying truth specific to each location. Including both contemporary photographer’s and masters of the twentieth century, the display examines the various ways artists have depicted networks of memory and identity, cultural and political histories as well as future development.
