‘Flowers for Lisa’, a new book by Abelardo Morell

Flowers for Lisa presents a selection of Abelardo Morell’s still-lifes of flowers in a new book to be published in October 2018. The concept for Flowers for Lisa came about when Morell presented his wife with a photograph of flowers on her birthday. Though flowers have long been a subject of fascination for artists, Morell was interested in presenting this conventional subject in new innovative and imaginative ways.

The book includes 100 colour photographs and is published by Abrams Books.
