‘Only Human’: Martin Parr to feature at the National Portrait Gallery, London

 

In 2019, the National Portrait Gallery, London will host an exhibition dedicated to the work of Martin Parr. Only Human focuses on Parr’s favourite subject, people, showcasing his photographic representation of Britishness, and including works which have never before been exhibited. The exhibition will include portraits of people from around the world, with a special focus on Parr’s wry observations British identity today, including new works which reveal Parr’s take on the social climate in Britain in the aftermath of the EU referendum.

The exhibition will run from 7 March – 27 May 2019.
