HP What is the first thing you do in the morning?
TF Have breakfast and walk my dog.

HP Describe where you produce your work, and why you chose that space.
TF I make work in my studio that I rent with two friends. It has a large space and we get a really good deal on it.

HP Where do you go to feel energised creatively?
TF Going to a contemporary art gallery or out on a walk in a forest.

HP If you could choose one word to describe your work, what would it be?
TF Metaphor.

HP What do you do when you need to escape the studio and reset your mind?
TF I go for a hike, meditate or watch a film.

HP What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
TF Not to move away from ideas too quickly.

HP If you weren’t an artist what would you do?
TF Find a job that I could work with my hands (preferably outside) and still be creative in my spare time.

HP What is one thing you couldn’t live without in your studio?
TF My dog’s company.

TF The Bees by Laline Paull and The Heart of the Woods by Wyl Memuir.

TF Adopting my dog.
