HP What is the first thing you do in the morning?
KA Play with my toddler, make a green tea.

HP Describe where you produce your work, and why you chose that space.
KA I have a studio in the garden – I love that I can go there in my pyjamas, and that I can play my music out loud without bothering anyone.

HP Where do you go to feel energised creatively?
KA Every time I go to Korea, I come back with my head full of painting ideas.

HP If you weren’t an artist what would you do?
KA I think I’d be working with children – I would have loved to study education or child psychology.

HP What is one thing you couldn’t live without in your studio?
KA Snacks.

HP What book are you reading right now?
KA I normally read fiction but recently I’ve been mixing it up with parenting books. At the moment I’m reading The Whole-Brain Child.
